I've been talking a lot lately about how the BlueConic #customerexperience, characterized by Expertise - Partnership - Empathy, is a competitive differentiator for us, especially in a world in which there are now more than 14,000 #martech vendors according to Scott Brinker's latest supergraphic). To be clear: CX as a differentiator is not my idea, nor is the thesis that trusted individuals are more effective and trusted firms more profitable than those that aren't. But it's been a lot of fun for me to talk about how we've taken those bedrock principles and made them our own at BlueConic, particularly in our revenue functions, and the measurable impact of EPE on our business results. And by "fun" I mean, the team at Vista Equity Partners' actually let me give a talk at the go-to-market summit last week called "Lessons in Revenue from Barbie" which was a BLAST (thank you Dave Anderson!) and that was coming off a joyful conversation with Alice Heiman for her #salestalk podcast which is now live for anyone who wants to hear the episode aptly titled, "Leading with Empathy."
