This year’s IEEE PES General Meeting will attract more than 3,300 professionals from every segment of the electric power industry. Our local organizing committee has developed a fantastic program, including super sessions, tutorials, standards development, technical tours, student programs, and plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues at several social events—all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Some of the highlights of this year's program include:

This year, the General Meeting takes place in Denver, Colorado. The Mile High City, which sits at the foot of the majestic Rocky Mountains, boasts more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Denver has a thriving cultural scene from all corners of its downtown area. Viewable from its cityscapes, visitors will revel in historic architecture and nearby snow-capped mountains—a panorama that stretches 140 miles, north to south. We encourage you to bring your family and enjoy all that the area has to offer.
I am truly looking forward to this year’s General Meeting. It’s always a great event and provides the best opportunity for me to connect with colleagues, new and old.
